So, I had to wait at least a day to make the Keurig giveaway look like the legitimate reason for posting on this blog before the end of summer. But you, dear and loyal readers, demand the truth. And I'll give it to ya, as long as you are sure you can handle it...
Well, can you?
::Trumpets blaring::
I present to you, the clip/video/animation/thingy that Reagan Had To Share With the World:
Relax, and allow the peacefulness to wash over you... as Simon let the awe of Susan Boyle's singing wash over him. This is it, folks:
Too much build-up? Well, I still love it.

The Revival
So, there could only be a very, very important reason for me to break radio silence and start blogging back here before the summer is over (I'm blogging here for the summer). And there is. It's you, dear readers.
Oh, and a contest. No, not one that I'm hosting, but one that I'm entering. To win a Keurig. You know, one of those fancy schmancy coffee machines. Here is the sexiness itself:

The caffeine scene up here has made me a convert, at least to near-daily nonfat chai lattes. :)
The gift to you, dearies, is that you can enter, too, by going here.
And if you win, don't forget to mail the Keurig to me. :) Kthnksbai!

I'm Baaaaaack....Yet Gone...
Okay, okay...enough with the comments and e-mails checking to see if I'm okay and demanding to hear my wit!!! (Read: NONE of you checked up on me!!!!!!)
Anyway, as they say, I've been busy. No, really, that's all people say these days. But I digress.
Basically, I got wrapped up in finals, semi-moving back to Atlanta after the semester, going to the Indy 500, and getting settled in PORTLAND, OR for my legal clerkship with the Animal Legal Defense Fund. I'm sure I'll remind you 1,000 times, but here is the blog where I'll document my summer happenings: http://critterclerkchronicles.blogspot.com/
So, not sure how much I'll be blogging here during the summer- we'll see if the other blog is enough.
Without further ado, however, I AM going to at least get caught up on this blog by posting some photos and video of the Indy 500- it was a blast!!!
RightHand and me with the track in the background (and one of the posters commemorating the track's 100th anniversary!)
The track! The famous pagoda! Ah, heaven!
There I is!
RightHand fulfilling his dream

Trying my hand at being an Indy Princess (yes, they actually have those- does this country ever miss an opportunity to degrade women at sporting events??)
Dad, stepmom, and I in our seats
Looking left from our seats
Looking right from our seats
Looking at Mario Lopez ride by from our seats ;)
Military members getting ready to unfurl huge flag

The balloons are released!
The exit of pit lane as seen from our seats
Full house!
Finally- warming up!
Since this post has turned into a giant, giant collection of photos, I'll post the photos during the actual race in another post to come shortly.

The Great Outdoors/Indoors
I have such a desire to garden, and perhaps I'll get more into it during the next school year. For now, I have to make do with the few plants around my apartment:
Pretty plant from RightHand's parents- and only a few chew marks and rips from Miss Latte!
The flowers have such a precious point at the top
Close-up
Btw- does anyone know what kind of plant this is? I know it's really common...some kind of lily?

A close-up
Trying to get a good picture of a really awesome spiderweb- FAIL
And here's my trusty gardening buddy :)
FIN.
And here are my two hanging flower baskets on my porch. They make me so happy:
